Next Tuesday, June 6th, the Media Center will begin hosting summer activities. Students can come for "It's a bird! No, it's a plane. The science behind paper airplanes." The media center will be open starting at 8:30 for book checkout, activity starts at 10 till 11:30. Our summer reading challenge will start the 6th as well. Stay tuned for more information!

Come join our Southgate Band tomorrow as they help honor our fallen heroes. The City of Southgate Memorial Day Parade begins at 10:00 a.m., and our Southgate Band will play at approximately 10:30 at the Memorial Day Ceremony that follows. We hope to see you there!

Parents of current Southgate School kindergarten though seventh graders: Please remember to return the completed registration form for the Southgate School Summer Program. The program begins June 6 and runs for five weeks (excluding July 4 week). Call school with any questions.

The end of the year is fast approaching and we are collecting library books. All books are due to the library on 5/18. Overdue notices are being sent home with students today. Any book that is not returned by Thursday, 5/18, a charge notice will be sent home Friday, 5/19. If you have any questions please contact our media specialist Mrs. Landrum.
