Bring Photo ID: Please have a valid photo ID with you every day at dismissal, just in case it is needed for verification.
Car Line Courtesy: If your student is not visible and ready to load when you reach the front, please do not block traffic. Circle around the building and loop back through the line.
Transportation & Carpool Updates: If you transport other students or allow another adult to pick up your child, make sure your information is officially updated with Ms. Betty in the main office. Unapproved pickups will not be permitted and verbal changes will not be accepted.
Questions & Support: If you have questions, please call Ms. Betty or visit Mrs. Ellison at the picnic table area during dismissal for assistance.

As part of our commitment to keeping every student safe, we are reaching out to share a quick reminder regarding our end-of-day dismissal procedures. To ensure a smooth, secure process for everyone, our staff will be strictly following our district release protocols.
Please review the key dismissal procedures below:
Written Instructions Required: Students will only be released according to the permanent dismissal instructions provided by custodial parents/guardians during registration.
Authorized Pickups Only: Children will only be released to individuals who are explicitly listed as authorized pickup contacts in Infinite Campus.
No Verbal Changes: For the safety of your child, we cannot accept verbal requests, text messages, or unverified word-of-mouth changes for any reason moving forward. Any changes to your child's routine pickup or departure must be submitted to the school in writing in advance.
Early Sign-Out Identification: If you need to sign your student out early, please come directly to the main office. Office staff will verify a photo ID against your authorized pickup list before releasing your student.
Updating Contact Information: If you need to add or update authorized pickup individuals, please contact the main office as soon as possible so we can update your student’s records in Infinite Campus.
We appreciate your cooperation, understanding, and partnership in upholding these standards to keep all of our Southgate students safe every day.
